I'm not ready to turn my eyes towards the fall just yet.

While I'm nerdy enough that I've always loved going back to school, the heat has my heart.

So I'm putting off a hard launch for the October run of HOW TOO- a live four week online photography

A summer marked by picnics and all other manner of eating outside.

As always, making pictures with my family the way I want to take them with yours.

That one time I took a sporty photo and loved it.

This weekend I had a really special maternity shoot in DC and it felt like a good excuse to look through the archives of past pregnancy images.

I LOVE a maternity session. There's something about the space between- the threshold - that really speaks

Wherever you love, however you love, it's a honor and a honest to goodness pleasure to get to make photographs with you that honor it.

After two and a half weeks of being away, it feels real good to be home.

Ready to get back into baking with all the summer produce- there will be more @alisoneroman blueberry muffins in my future.
