I'm a sucker for wild haired blonde boys and a tree pose in the doorframe.

The heart loves what it loves- who am I to deny it?

I'm always interested in thresholds- the places between. Pregnancy is the most profound transitions I've experienced and so it is always an honor when I get to make images to celebrate that time.

This is where most of my days start- coffee in hand, pen to page.

Writing has been my most long term creative practice- before I ever thought in terms of images, I used words as a way of noticing- a way of making sense of my experience.

Next week

I'm concerned that I may spend the next few weeks desperately trying to will spring into existence.

It could make for very annoying Instagram captions. I apologize in advance.
